    R. Sundaram was married to Dr. V. Anbarasi  and  blessed with two daughters Mrs. Ezhil Bharathi and Ms. Udhaya Bharathi.

   1. Elected as Vice President in Aerospace Industry Development Association of Tamil Nadu (AIDAT).

   2. Governing Committee member in Salem Productivity Council.

   3. Member of Board of Governors of Government college of Engineering Salem.

 

AEROSPACE ENGINEERS PRIVATE LIMITED (AEPL) nominated by British Deputy High Commission for Trade Mission in Aviation and Defence Sector to participate in the Four member (National Level) Trade Mission at UK organized by British Deputy High Commission, Chennai.

 

AEPL has launched its new manufacturing setup named “The Salem Aeropark LLC”

at Texas USA.

 

In addition to this, we are about to open a second unit of AEROSPACE ENGINEERS PVT. LTD., at Hosur for our vital consumers of Aeronautical Components and sub- assemblies in and around Bangalore.

 

R. Sundaram, Founder & Managing Director received the MSME National Award First Prize for “Quality Products-2015” on 27.06.17 from Hon’ble Union Minister of MSME Shri. Kalraj Mishra, Union Ministers of State for MSME Shri. Haribhai P.Chaudhary and Shri. Giriraj Singh.

 

MSME National Award First Prize for “Quality Products-2015” was re-presented by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamilnadu, Shri. Edapadi Palanisamy and Hon’ble Minister for Industries, Thiru M.C. Sampath on 29.06.17.

• 2014 – “Excellence in Aerospace Indigenisation” from SIATI for the successful development of Canopy Seal hose for Sukhoi-30 Aircraft by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka.

• 2014 – DRDO Excellence National Level Award for “Defence Technology Absorption Award”, awarded by our Hon’ble Prime Minister of India in the presence of Defence  and Finance Minister.

• 2011 – “Excellence in Aerospace Indigenisation” by Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies and Industries (SIATI) for Indigenous Development of Lubrication Oil pump for Helicopters.

• 2008 – 2009 – State level “Best Quality and Export Award” by Government of Tamilnadu.

• 2007 – 2008 – District level “Best Industries Award” by Government of Tamilnadu.

• 2001 – “Excellence in Aerospace Indigenisation” from Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies and Industries (SIATI)    prestigious award for development of Canopy Seal hose for KIRAN Aircraft.

• The Salem Aeropark has manufactured about 15,000 parts that comply with global aviation requirements with rigorous  quality standards which are ratified by authorities for Military and Civil Aircrafts.

• Centre for Military Airworthiness Certification (CEMILAC) has accorded Airworthy clearance for 1124 products for use on aircraft, helicopters, missiles, Civil Aviation and other systems including rubber components. Also in Missile Projects like BrahMos, Akash, Agni, Prithvi and Composite components for BrahMos, LRSAM missile for DRDL and also for TAML are manufactured and supplied.

9 times exhibited in Aero India Airshow, Defexpo and International Airshows like ILA Berlin Air Show, Singapore Air Show, Paris Air Show, Defexpo, Africa Aerospace and Defence, Farnborough Air Show, MAKS Air Show.
